The Mi Note10 Pro is the latest Xiaomi phone to come with a high-resolution camera. It comes with a 12MP main sensor and f/1.9 aperture. The camera features nine-in-1 pixel binning technology that results in images that are both detailed and have a high dynamic range. The camera on the Mi Note 10 Pro has a 12-megapixel sensor which makes it much easier to handle than its predecessor. However, this resolution takes up a quarter of the phone’s storage. Both the Mi Note 10 Pro and the Mi Note 10 share a similar case design. They both come with a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED screen and a 120Hz refresh rate. Both the phones feature elaborate light refraction on the back and support HDR-10. The Mi Note 10 Pro supports fast charging and is IP68 certified. It is not water-resistant, however. Neither of the devices are perfect for those who live by the water or in areas where it is impossible to take a phone into the bath.
Both the Mi Note 10 Pro and the Redmi Note 10 Pro have similar specs. The Redmi Note 10 Pro packs a punch for its modest price. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 732G processor, and comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with a 120-Hz refresh rate. There are three memory/storage configurations, including 6 GB/64GB, 8 GB/128GB, and 8 GB/256GB.
Both phones come with Android 10 OS and MIUI 11 on top. The new version adds full-screen gestures and a fast platform, while the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G mobile platform delivers great overall performance. You can add up to 256GB of internal memory to Mi Note 10 Pro, which is a large amount. It also supports 2 SIM card slots, NFC, and infrared.
As a mid-range phone, the Redmi Note 10 Pro is a good choice for many consumers. The device has a great battery life and is very responsive, but it isn’t as good as the Pixel 4a, which we’ll cover later. Despite the lack of a 5G connection, the Redmi Note 10 Pro still makes a great everyday-driver. You can get one from Xiaomi for a fraction of the price.
In terms of imaging performance, the Mi Note 10 Pro has a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor with an f/1.9 aperture. The pixel size of the sensor is notoriously small, but it is optimized for low-light situations by combining nine pixel binning. This results in effective pixel-size of 2.4um. It also comes with a night mode and dual pixel PDAF.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Pro features a six-GB RAM and 256GB mass storage. However, it costs an extra 100 euros, and it doesn’t support a microSD. Despite its low price, it has a headphone jack, two SIM slots, and an IR blaster. The Mi Note 10 Pro also has a front-facing camera. The device is also compatible with Apple’s Face ID.
